What is a Class "B" uniform?
Let's start with what it's not - Class "A". Unless otherwise specified, Class "A" is worn to Troop meetings, Courts of Honor, Boards of Review and any time a Scout is traveling as part of a Troop 121 activity. Full Class “A” consists of a khaki Scout shirt with appropriate Troop number, insignias and Council patches worn over a Troop 121 T-shirt, Scout pants (or shorts), a Scout web belt and Scout socks. If a Scout has earned 6 or more merit badges, a merit badge sash displaying the patches earned should be worn to formal events (Courts of Honor, Board of Review and other official gatherings). Troop 121 does not wear the Scout neckerchief (except for Eagle Scouts).
Class “B” is the more informal uniform that we wear during our summer meetings, on campouts (other than at meals and flag ceremonies) and pretty much any time we'll be getting dirty. Class “B” includes the Troop 121 T-shirt, Scout pants (or shorts) and a Scout belt. A Troop 121 T-shirt will be provided at no cost to all scouts.

What is a Scout binder and why does my Scout need one?
While the Troop keeps electronic records of your Scout's progress within the Troop, a Scout binder contains tangible mementos of their journey, including rank and merit badge cards, patches, photos and awards. Scout binders are frequently cloth binders with zipper closures that are filled with baseball card sleeves (perfect size for advancement cards). During an Eagle Court of Honor, these mementos are displayed to illustrate the Scout's achievements within the Scouting program.

What is a Scout Account?
A Scout Account is the fund maintained by a Scout to finance his scouting experience, including campouts, summer camp and high adventure camping A Scout Account belongs to the Scout, these funds are not used to pay for rank advancement or general troop activities and expenses. Scouts are encouraged to take on the responsibility for these accounts themselves by earning money through fundraising opportunities and checking their balances with the Troop Treasurer.

What fundraising opportunities does Troop 121 participate in?
Troop 121 participates in three main fundraising activities that benefit Scouts directly (they receive a predetermined percentage of the funds raised). These are Popcorn sales, Scout Show ticket sales and car washes. The Troop also holds an annual garage sale to fund the purchase and maintenance of equipment that benefits all Scouts or the Troop as a whole, such as new tents or backpacking stoves.
