Summer Camp 2012

This years summer camp is 7/1/2011 through 7/7/2011 at Constantin!
Total cost for Summer Camp 2012 is $245.00. Payment can be made in full or in 2 installments. The sign up/commitment flyer , merit badge preferences and first installment of $100 are due April 30th. The 2nd installment of $145.00 is due by May 14, 2012.
Merit Badges - Be sure to select your preferred merit badges in order from 1st through 4th. If you son is new this year and has never attended summer camp, you should check with the ScoutMaster as to the class to take. In general, all classes are paid for in the camp registration fee. However, several classes may require additional materials which may cost anywhere from $5-$15 dollars. This includes shooting badges or art related badges. Also, the Water Odyssey and Brazos Buccaneers will have additional fees.
Merit Badge Preferences - Please use this form to select your merit badge choices in order of preference. We will enter them this way and we will let you know if this works out as soon as we know. The sooner you get this to us the better since Camp master will have to get all of the classes assigned in the next month. We have not yet seen a case where we could not get a class we wanted, but best to 'be prepared'.
Adult Leaders - Adult leaders planning to attend should contact Mike as soon as possible. As always we split the cost across those who attend to keep it down for all of the adult leaders. The current cost is $115/adult.
Volunteers Needed! - The Troop needs assistance with several items. Please contact Tim and Karen Shea if you can help with these. They are not hard to do and leaders can provide easy means of doing these things. Most of these things are easy for any parent who has not yet had a chance to volunteer for something.

Please complete the current Medical Form.
Scouts will need current med forms if you have not already submitted one this year. Parts A, B and C are needed along with a copy of your insurance card.
Adults will need the usual forms as well. Note some of these may already be available, but it's always a good idea to have current copies of these for yourself.

- copy of the sexual offender database check
- copy of weather hazard training certificate unless we have current record in Troop master
- copy of valid Youth Protection certificate card (valid only for 2 years)
